London CoffeeMap
Introducing London CoffeeMap vol.1
We are London CoffeeMap - a creative project connecting London’s best independent coffee shops through beautiful, tangible design. We’re not a directory, but a love letter to coffee to the people behind coffee bars and to the everyday magic of exploring your city one cup at a time. Two friends have come together to design limited edition coffee maps - real, collectible objects that take you on a curated journey beyond your regular cafe, and through London’s specialty coffee scene. Explore what the city has to offer to create new relationships, discoveries and experiences.
London CoffeeMap collaborates with independent cafes, designers and sponsors to bring each edition to life, from the product to the printed map to the coffee experience itself. For every bag sold, we pay the cafes for the drinks redeemed, because support shouldn't just be symbolic, it should be tangible.
Each edition features 10 handpicked cafes and is paired with a unique, coffee-inspired product. Volume 1 comes in a bag made from recycled coffee grounds - but each edition will be different. New Design, new form, same mission to celebrate coffee culture. With your map, you’ll be able to visit each coffee shop and redeem a free drink, supporting the community each time.
We start small, with 150 bags available and 2 months of exploration. You can begin your journey from the middle of May, encompassing the London Coffee Festival, to finish at the end of June.
London CoffeeMap vol. 1 is only available through our website and in limited quantities from the coffee shops involved in the project.. Pre-ordered MapBags will begin shipping at the start of may.
